World Fresh Produce Ltd (WFP) is a family owned business that supplies the Food Service, Catering and Wholesale fruit and vegetable industry.
We are based in and around the fertile silt lands of East Anglia, this land base enables us to grow and procure some of the finest Produce in Europe. We have access to over 2000 acres of grade 1 farms. We also have a number of dedicated growers in Spain and Holland. Primarily we are suppliers of the main vegetable crops, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Potatoes, Onions, Parsnips and Swede.
Whether the produce is grown in the UK or imported from all parts of the globe, our mission and principles remain the same, Service, Quality and Availability. We fully understand whoever the underlying customer is, be it a Michelin star restaurant, government institution, schools or a family run restaurant. The menu is prepared weeks if not months in advance, and therefore we always endeavour to deliver on time and within budget.
WFP is able to access a range of produce, grown, harvested and packed to the highest specifications adhering to all protocols, as you would expect we have full traceability from the point of seeding to the point of delivery. All of our UK farms are Red Tractor accredited and all imported produce comes with Global Gap assurance.
We are in daily contact with our customers ensuring their produce is always fresh and at its best when required.
We are able to offer seasonal prices, giving our customers the comfort of guarantee, stability and continuity of supply at a constant price.
At WFP, it is always our aim to grow the best possible crops and work with our UK and overseas partners to ensure our customers receive the best produce available. The relationships with our growers are equally important to us. We have worked hard in developing on going, long term relationships.
